Anhui Ankai Automobile Co., Ltd. is a Chinese manufacturer of passenger buses under the Ankai brand.
The company began operations in 1993, when it acquired a license to produce buses from the German concern Setra.
Initially, Anhui Ankai Automobile Co. produced Setra 200 and 300 series models, but later launched production under its own brand,
Ankai.
Currently, Ankai and Setra buses are produced on parallel lines using identical technologies and solutions.
