Blue Bird's current production program includes several basic school buses with a wagon-style configuration, and we'll tell you about them.

The TC/1000 model is perhaps the smallest in the family. Thanks to its relatively small wheelbase and front-mounted engine, this bus is very popular.

This is because smaller schools don't have a driver on staff, and the teachers themselves perform driver duties according to a schedule (provided they are licensed to transport passengers, of course).

A smaller bus, as you can imagine, is easier to manage. Furthermore, the freed-up rear space allowed for the installation of a wheelchair lift for children with disabilities.

Next in the lineup is the Blue Bird TC/2000 (production began in 1987), considered one of the best and safest buses in North America.

A 190-horsepower turbocharged diesel engine provides the necessary dynamics, while the automatic transmission ensures driver comfort. Typically, these large buses are owned by major transportation companies serving a wide range of educational institutions. Depending on the configuration and size, they can carry up to 84 passengers.

And finally, the All American, in both RE (rear-engine) and FE (front-engine) configurations. They feature a steel-frame construction, full-length side bumpers, additional emergency exits, wide doors, powerful exterior lighting, large interior and exterior mirrors, a robust, original frame, intelligently designed components, radio communications, and much, much more, reaching a length of up to 45 feet (just over 13.5 m).
